Our community programs include:

• Sports & Recreation – A Deaf football team with 25 players competing in Mogadishu tournaments.

• Cultural & Religious Gatherings – Collective iftar during Ramadan, building unity and reducing isolation.

• Awareness Campaigns – Seminars and events to fight stigma and promote Deaf rights.

• Representation – Participation in national and international conferences to give the Somali Deaf community a voice on global platforms.

Through these initiatives, SONAD strengthens pride, connection, and visibility for the Deaf across Somalia and beyond.
